Round or Square?
« on: March 24, 2022, 10:31:49 PM »
I plan on making myself a new hunting pouch. Looking at historical examples I notice that some are square bottomed and some are rounded. What, if any, are the pros and cons of each style.

Thanks

I like a round bottomed bag when I'm carrying loose balls in my shooting bag, as they naturally gravitate to the center of the bag as they are being used up.  :)  :bl th up

Other than that, I don't find much difference between the two types.

Personally, I prefer a square bottomed bag.  They seem easier to organize for me.

I have both but just don't have a preference.

I like square with a couple pouches rather than one big bag.

I tend to lose things in corners so it's  a round bottom for me.
I'm  not  H/C or P/C or even a particularly  good shot but I have a hell of a good time!

I've made and used both and have found that just a slight "semi" round corner works better for me.  :shake
