Hello from East Tennessee
« on: December 21, 2022, 08:23:44 AM »
Good Morning All,
Just getting started in traditional muzzle loading.
I have many years of using and restoring antique single shot rifles for both hunting and target.
I was wanting to branch out into making muzzle loaders (especially flintlocks).
I am an accomplished woodworker, wood turner and carver so these should translate well into rifle building.

I have a farm and forest land in Eastern TN rich with turkey, deer, hogs and other assorted critters with which to fill the freezer.
I look forward tot he additional challenge of hunting with muzzle loaders, hopefully both shotgun and rifle.

I look forward to learning from all of you and if appropriate, perhaps contribute tidbits from my other hobbies should the opportunity arise.
At this point, however, I am your student and eagerly anticipate the flood of knowledge you have to offer.

Best and warmest wishes for a joyous holiday season to all.
Daniel
