Returning Ohioian
« on: December 21, 2022, 09:44:50 PM »
I’m a long time member but this is my first post. I have shot sidelocks for a few years but never a lot. I’d been focused on raising and training Plott hounds for coon and bear hunting. No more hounds now so been doing more squirrel hunting with dogs. I own two antique percussion rifles; one made by my great-great uncle (Zartman) and one by his nephew-in-law (Hetrick). I plan on moving to PA soon so I recently purchased a TC Renegade flintlock to take advantage of the PA flintlock season. I figured returning to the forum might help me learn about the flintlock. I’ve never been much of a deer hunter but got plenty of time since retiring. I hope to make it to the Sons of Liberty trade show in Jackson Ohio this January. Merry Christmas to all.

Welcome to the dark side! Ask away, you will be sure to get answers. There is a lot of knowledge here. Hope it won't be as long between posts as it has been....  :Doh!

In the next year or so I will moving to Pennsylvania. I was wondering if anyone is acquainted with the Jefferson County Longrifle club. I will be moving into that area. Thanks in advance.
