SKYChief load for Smooth Bore Musket
« on: June 18, 2023, 10:49:13 AM »
Hi
Here vid of a redneck cracker shootin’
Should  have done in shade as got  pretty hot. I  was  running out  of gas toward the end.
I think I got some of the olive oil on frizzen that caused the two “No Sparks”.
The smooth bore musket was more prevalent as you could shoot a roundball (in this case .62) and also  use as  a shotgun.
Big game/defense and for supper. Easier to load than a rifle. Just put in powder and drop a ball down the barrel (with or  without a patch).
This is what most folks had in the  cabin. Dinner Ranch WMA Florida
