Working,.... putting in septic tanks, digging trenches, burying underground power lines.
My wife bought 45 baby chicks this spring so I also had to build a chicken house, and still need to make some nesting boxes.

And,.... I've got some old farm site clean-ups to keep me busy in my slack time.  :laffing  ;banghead;

Not a whole lot of muzzleloading activity going on around here anymore. Been doing a bunch of motorcycle stuff lately. Went on a 1k mile dirt bike ride through the Smokey mts and was at an antique bike show this weekend.

Right now, we are "camped" at a RV place at a casino in Corning, CA.  On our way back after about 8 weeks out.
I was planning on going to 3 rendezvous in Idaho and 1 in Washington, but I passed on the Coeur d'Alene one, did attend the Moscow one and passed on the PPR in ID.  The one in WA was cancelled.  Oh well, good times anyway.
Been spending the last couple of weeks investigating the Oregon coast.  There are some great walks there.  And some nice lighthouses.
Now it is back to home base to start figuring out what I want to do next year.  And to get the PA Hunter shooting how I would like it to.  Maybe make a couple of interesting changes to it as well.

Well, pretty much the same as everyone else, staying busy.
 Been to my 1st ,2 3,4th rendezvous.
And if we're not doing that it's yard work, we got 20 chickens + 10 new born chicks .
Now I gotta start working on a few things to earn extra $$ for a kibler woodsrunner ....
I feel terrible not participating in the postal shoot a but just haven't had the time.  Maybe this month.

Just doing normal property upkeep, and visiting kids and grandkids... Like Rondo, I don't think I'll be doing the Rendezvous this year.  :shake

17 shoots so far this year, including the modern military and sporting rifle matches. The local shooting schedule slows after this weekend for a few months until the rain comes again. Then I will do the chores I should have been doing all summer here at home, as long as it doesn't interfere with fishing too much.

Been rained in at my camp here in the Adirondacks. It's been like Monsoon season in the Philippines up here. Cloudy, rainy and cool.
I'm  not  H/C or P/C or even a particularly  good shot but I have a hell of a good time!

I've been working on the local squirrel population and trying to keep the ticks from starving.

Ain't that the truth.
My wife works two days a week and retires in December
I went down to one day a week, pre retirement.
Went back up to two days and thinking about going to  three.
There's to much homework when WE are both home .
She likes gardening and buying truckloads of dirt, sad cuz I only have one shovel and she doesn't know how to drive it.  :luff:

Just last week bought a "new" (1989) truck, now in the process of making it legal to drive on the roads. . . the way I figure, brakes are over-rated: when your exhaust pipe ends under the cab, you don't hear the screams of the people you ran over.

Once that is done, I need to finish the move from my old place to the new place.  Got a guy who wants to buy the house.
