Snagged a cheapie!
« on: June 02, 2024, 11:23:58 AM »
I got this little 50 pedersoli here locally. I think I'll try to doll it up and see how it shoots until I can get my hands on a pistol I really like. It sparks well though!

I've never owned, or shot one, but they do seem to shoot pretty well from what I've heard.  :bl th up

I've been wanting a flint pistol.  Looking forward to some shooting reports.

If the lock sparks well deal is done.  Shoot it until it begs for mercy then shoot it again.  It's a nice pistol for the woods or the range as well.  I have one, not a Pedersoli, but nicely made by a gent who no longer does pistols.  Mine is a .50 and shoots very well (I don't but the pistol does).  It sports an older stock style which I like better and that feels more natural.  I've had mine quite a good long time and was surprised at the KICK it delivered.  Put a hunting (deer) load in it and grip it snug.  Light, weenie loads are great for targets and of course for small game and don't kick to speak of.
