Mark, You are sure coming up with some dandy targets.
One of these days, I just might get my chubby derrière out to the range and take advantage of them.

Range  25 Yards for all Postal matches

Position is your choice:

SHOOTING POSITION FOR POSTAL MATCH

Shooters may shoot off-hand OR from a bench using ELBOWS ONLY, NO Rest of any kind.

SHOOTING POSITION FOR POSTAL FUN SHOOT

Shooters may use any position they wish, off-hand, sitting, kneeling. squatting, sitting or standing.
IF A REST IS USED IT MUST BE NON-ADJUSTABLE TYPE THAT WOULD BE COMMON IN THE 1850’s OR EARLIER. (Home-made would be best!)

I’ll start things off with a Fusil De Chasse smoothbore target. 25yds, offhand.

Nice shooting Paul. Mark, I'm glad you have the technology to check those targets out. I thought for sure it was a 49-3x. Just went to the range with a friend today. He had a 50 cal. smoothbore  that he had never fired. Right now it's not shooting too bad at 25 yds. At 50 yds. it's another story. I also shot at the Revolutionary sized target again. Results were less than satisfactory.

I have no excuses for my Fun target. A .32 T/C Cherokee with heavy barrel, perfect conditions, no wind, 77 degrees. I even colored the target for visibility! [ Invalid Attachment ]  [ Invalid Attachment ]

Well you just gave me an idea Mark. I've already shot the Sept. bullseye with a 50 cal. But squirrel season opens Sept. 14 here in PA, so maybe I'll do like you and use the 32 on the fun target to see if I'll be able to hit a squirrel come Sept. 14. Thanks for the idea.

Your welcome, Tom. As you can see from my Fun target the squirrels are in no danger from me.

Well Mark, I'm sorry about not being conclusive with my score. My overlay doesn't have a 32 cal. size to use. I used the 30 cal. to check. So I'm pretty sure what the score is, but I'd like you to determine what it is. Makes no difference to me. [ Invalid Attachment ]   [ Invalid Attachment ]

Tom, both targets are great.
Bullseye is 50-2x I think.
Snake is dead and headless.
