Title: voyageurs...

I have been told that you could tell the province of a voyageur from the color of his cap...but I've never seen any confirmation of this..

So...is it true? and what colors for what provinces?  where is this information?

In the late 19th/early 20th centuries, snowshoe clubs from different regions started wearing different colored toques.

If you portray a voyaguer, stick with red (and no tassle).
