Title: Bit Size For Loading Blocks

To build your Loading Block (Bullet Block/Bullet Board) use the following size drill bits...Enjoy!

.32cal = 21/64" bit
.36cal = 3/8" bit
.40cal = 27/64" bit
.45cal = 29/64" bit
.50cal = 1/2" bit
.54cal = 35/64" bit
.58cal = 19/32" bit
.62cal = 5/8" bit
.69cal = 11/16" bit *
.75cal = 3/4" bit

*you'll need to file this one out a tad to fit

Thanks Al, it only took me 'Two Steps'    

1.  Cut and paste to Word
2. File to my Mountain Man folder

I think I have most of these bits, and quite a few in Fortsner style, which cut a very clean hole.

I always chamfer the holes on both sides of the block with a round stone 'drill bit' on my slow speed drill.  The extra roundness/smoothness helps for easy loading the block and quick loading of the gun.

This little item is eeeeessential in scoring well at the 'Fort Shoots'

Thanks for such a helpful chart. I am wanting to make a couple of loading blocks and this is a true time saver for me.
