That's interesting. Never paid much attention to the money end of the fur trade for some reason. Just kind'a had the mind set that a trapper made on average about $200.00 a year - then went back into debt and he'd do it all over again. Very interesting what the price of furs were in 1820. Thanks for finding/posting this!  :hairy

You're right Roaddog!
One interesting thing in the "Number of Pelts Traded"....kinda looks like the Whitetail Deer took a pretty heavy hit in 1820, at least at that one Trading Post.
