 Yesterday. shortly after dawn, my Son (long a bowhunter - 30+ years) shot a small whitetail buck, when this guy came into the kill site, so he shot him too.
 
 It's a pretty good-sized coyote, for this area (about 50lbs)

 I've been told that, because of it's size & appearance,  it's likely a coy-wolf - which species have apparently been inter-breeding for awhile now.
