I'm looking at the various guns I have accumulated and thinking of thinning the herd. None of the three kids are interested in shooting anymore. Lately I only shoot the Shenandoah Rifle when I go out. I am NOT getting any younger. So, I am thinking of selling off the Hodgepodge rifle (flintlock) and the restocked CVA Bobcat (cap lock), plus some unmentionables. I'll probably et rid of some molds and other stuff also; I just have to figure out what I want to keep. I'll post photos and such in the Trade Blanket forum later, if anyone is interested.

Kees,
Welcome to my world. You sound like I do.
I have started selling off some of my collection of powder horns. I am probably down to 40 by now. I only have one horn for sale right now, a nice banded applied tip by Steve Vance. It is listed here on our trade blanket. Sure would like to part with it even if it is a really nice horn.
I have already culled my gun collection down quite a bit, but I just cannot bear to see the revolvers go, both B/P and cartridge. Maybe one day. Then there are knives, oh boy, what a quandary.

Sad to say, but I also am in the first throws of culling the herd. I started with the "not to be spoken of" group from 14 to 4. Now the blessed group of smoke generators will be thinned, if I can make myself screw up the courage to start. 83 and counting and the grandkids all have a black powder gun thanks to gramps so---.
