No longer will there be TMA Contributing Members, or TMA Officers, or a TMA non-profit Incorporation.
The TMA is still a non-profit Association of like-minded persons who wish to preserve and promote the rich and fascinating heritage of the traditional muzzleloading firearms of early America.
Your current TMA Officers and Board of Directors are now the TMA Council who will collectively administer the TMA website and forum for functionality, and content as outlined in our TMA User Agreement.
If you are a currently subscribed and paid TMA Contributing Member we thank you for your continued support because without you and your dollars we would not be here today.
The TMA website and forum domain names and server space have been secured rent free for a full decade, to 2036.
The TMA would like to give back to each of our current paid up TMA Contributing Members with a "pay back" of $100.
This payback will be accomplished via PayPal or a TMA check.
At your discretion, you can refuse your payback dollars and the TMA will add that to any existing TMA dollars that will find it all officially donated to a worthy charity.
IF THE TMA DOES NOT HEAR BACK FROM YOU BY 3/1/2026 YOUR $100 WILL BE DONATED TO A SELECT USA CHARITY
An email will be sent to all current TMA Contributing Members, alerting each of their payback offer and directing them to this thread. We expect this payback to be completed by March of this year. If any TMA Contributing Members have not answered our payback email or posted on this thread, their payback dollars will be charity donated.
Once the TMA Contributing Members have been paid and the remaining TMA dollars have been charity donated, the TMA bank account and TMA PayPal account will both be dissolved - no longer needed.
Thank you all for visiting our TMA forum and for supporting our/your worthy goals.

It's a no-brainer: charity donation for me, please and thank you!

Well, I think I will take a check.
I can use the money to help pay the dues at my local rifle range if/when it ever reopens.
Then I can compete in the monthly shoots here on TMA.
Sounds like a good use of the money to me.
PM going to Darren with my mailing address.
Thank you much,
John

Can you tell me who/where the funds will be donated?

Undecided yet ... maybe St Jude's Cancer Children's Fund ... got a suggestion?
-
That is definitely a great idea for St Jude's.
-
If you go to St Jude?s I?m definitely in for the donation option.
-
For those of you donating i would consider
Tunnels to towers or possibly DAV , disabled American veterans.
Worthy causes

Half to St. Jude's for our children and half to DAV for our brothers. Gets my vote.

Yep?use mine for the donation too. So many worthy places, those mentioned, Wounded Warrior, Shriners Children's Hospital? :shake

Make mine a donation also. If we are deciding where to donate to, I vote for the St. Jude's/DAV option.

I vote for half to DAV, half to St Judes.

Unfortunately our fuel oil heater has been running way too much, so will be needing a check to help refill the tanks.
Probably a portion will go to St. Jude and the rest for fuel oil. I admire your generosity.

If we've locked in to those two charities, I'm in also. I f not, I'll hold off for a while.

Not locked into any specific one or more charities as the TMA Council hasn't fully discussed the whole charity issue ... yet.

in a way, me too - my furnace tank started steaming on Thursday and a whole new furnace got installed yesterday. The water hardness in our town has tripled in the last decade and that was the prime culprit that killed an 8 year old Crown boiler. Dang.

Bad water heater here. About 10 years.
