Tried the combination of tomahawk throwing and shooting flying water jugs.
I loved every part of this fun....

Man Mark, it looks as though you're throwing those hawks a long way. I don't think I could throw those hawks that far. But you did a good job bud.

Now THAT'S pure fun ... and good "tactical" training! :lol sign :hairy

Well, that looks like a good way to get your 10,000 steps in for the day, maybe more.
I am thinking that maybe you did not pop a cap on your rifle before your first shot?
Good reason for the gun not to fire.
Else, that looks like a fun game.

I'm still working on cutting a piece off the playing card every time with my hawk. Maybe if I accomplish that, then I can work on cutting a string with the hawk.

Yep, I broke a cardinal rule of cap gun shooting.
That's exactly why it wouldn't work and i knew that going in.

When we had our shop in Coeur d'Alene, it was amazing how many people over the years came in moaning and groaning about the deer or elk that got away because they hadn't popped a cap or two before loading their rifle and going out on the hunt. ;banghead; ;banghead; ;banghead;
You're not the first and you surely won't be the last, if that's any consolation.
But you are the one that was captured on film doing that. :Doh! But the pistol did go off.
Good job on the videos, quite entertaining.

I just thought of a rendezvous down in Moscow, ID that I used to enjoy.
On Sunday afternoon, they had something called Stupid Shoots.
One of them was they hung several half gallon milk jugs in a tree and you had to stand directly under one and shoot straight up and break the jug.
If you didn't get any water on you, you got points, if you did, you were out. It's more difficult than you think.
With my arthritic neck, I am not sure I could even look straight up and aim the rifle anymore. Oh well.
