I like that one, quite a bit.  The upswept blade appears that it would do well in working up game, the hammer poll just enough to manage the pounding necessary in a camp, and the functionality of it otherwise is time proven.

Ron, when does it come on-line for availability and what is it going to run.

Now that plumb shines Ron...what possessed you to go that route?

I don't know "squat" about hawks' in general, one throwing hawk looks much like the other to the unwashed and unclean, still yet, I just can't help but wonder.

One would think that if a particular make / model / length / weight was actually better than the rest, then that's what every body would rush to....actually, I suspect that's more of a question than a statement.

Anyway, I think it's absolutely wonderful that you could dig through the ashes of the old and come up with a marketable product for today.

True ingenuity, IMHO.

i have alway's liked the "french' styled hawk, but NEVER the style that was offered. looked more "Nordic" in style than what your aversage Frog would carry! The small hammer pole on the back edge is what sold me!

Ron,will you be around on Monday? In case my travels take me near your place. No promises.

Well, hopefully I can get the package delivered without the "boss" noticing, otherwise we might find out REALLY quick how well it throws and sticks...

I went snooping around the web site.  Do I have to print a form and send it snail mail?
No 'shopping cart' ?

Can I get a couple extra handles with the hawk?  It is a long ways for your house to pick up a spare.
I suppose I could fashion a spare out of some scrap Hickory, Yew or Osage.

Fletch, you can fill out the form,  scan it and email it to me or you can call and order by phone. Sorry my website isn't up to date with the latest conveniences.  :(

I wanted the Francisca hawks to come with a sheath or edge guard so I sent one of them to my sheath man in Tennessee. He fitted it with an edge guard and mailed it back. When it arrives I'll post a picture. Later I may have him fit it with a full sheath but for now it will just have the edge guard held secure with a keeper strap behind the pole of the hawk.
