TURN: Washington's Spies
2014-2015 TV-14 2 seasons

Set in 1776, this period drama recounts the story of Abe Woodhull, an American cabbage farmer obliged to begin spying on the British enemy. After Abe forms an espionage ring with friends, their efforts alter the course of the Revolutionary War.

This movie is based on a book the author wrote after reading letters written to George Washington from some of his spies during the Revolution, everyone supposed Washington had burnt the letters, but instead he had them sealed away in a box.
This is a great movie series, if you haven't already seen the 1st. season on AMC, I highly recommend checking it out on NetFlix.  :hairy

Agree.....great entertainment and very well done. There just isn't much available concerning the colonial or fur trade period so this one is a real treat. I just ordered the book on which the show is based from Amazon and am anxiously awaiting it.

Would've been better had they not trashed John Graves Simcoe.  So it's an "acceptable" series.
