The Pennsylvania Dutch Pouch
« on: June 03, 2020, 03:23:32 PM »
With the recent interest in leather work I was digging through some old pics that I had on a thumb drive and found pics of past bags that I have made, may help as a reference to somebody looking for ideas, this one I have made several bags from in different leathers and colors, I call it the Pennsylvania Pouch.

Dang! That's cool! I may steal that flap work. Are the lines sewn on the front?

Yes Sir, simply lay out your design on half the pattern and flip, stitches are laid out 4 per inch, then hand sew, I've also made 2 with heavy colored thread for a customer, trying to find those pics but I think they're lost to time when my old lap top fried! I believe the flap was measure out to 1" larger than the bottom part so when the bag was with the gusset and flipped it would be a bit larger than the bottom to cover it when worn, I'd  have to check my patterns which are in storage at the moment as we build our new digs at my Sons' place.
