Hot off the press: Ozarks hunting and fishing tales
« on: August 07, 2020, 07:52:51 AM »

I found out about this project a few years ago when a friend told me Dr. Morgan, a professor at the University of Missouri-Columbia, was looking for stories as part of some class work he was having students do. I contacted Mark to get more details and he told me he was trying to capture the essence of Ozarks culture through tales of hunting and fishing. He said he hoped to publish a book in the future but didn't know if it would happen or not. I sent him a few submissions and kind of forgot about the whole deal.

A few days ago I learned that the book is out and I have a couple stories in it. I thought that was pretty cool. Dr. Morgan is selling the books for $15 (shipping included). You can get yours by sending Mark Morgan a private message on Facebook or emailing him at markmorgan@missouri.edu

Note: I'm not hawking this book for personal gain. I get no proceeds from its sale.
