After such a good experience with my 1st woodsrunner build , ginger, I've wanting to do another so I
Ordered this WR .45 rifle on walnut on Feb 11th.
 Just got it may 5th.
Originally ordered a .54 smoothbore but after having so much fun shooting my auction cap gun.45
I decided to switch it up. Besides I Already have a .62 smoothie
My plans is for some simple German silver wire inlay, probably just around the patchbox and I mean simple.
This will be my first trying it on a stock.
My attempt a wrist inlay??? Maybe
I'll post picks as I go along, hopefully get her finished before we move to Florida which could be in as little as a few months.

Is this the move that makes you a permanent Floridian? Gonna seem strange knowing you're in Florida instead of Idaho.
Like the walnut on that WR. Should be a pretty one for sure. Good luck with your inlays, and am looking forward to your updates on your build.
And one more thing, be careful when working on your tan lines. :wave

Gee Kevin, the place won't seem the same without you.
Whereabouts in Florida are you heading?
Best of success on your build.
The best luck I have ever had on any kind of kit purchase was a pocket knife from Jantz.  Really complicated.  Four little screws to affix the pre shaped scales and two little screws to affix the  pocket spring.  The wood has taken on a nice finish from my skin oil.  Well, I did sharpen it also.  Oh yeah, I did a CVA Kentucky pistol a long time ago.  It turned out to be a combination of a trainwreck and a catastrophe.  Maybe even worse.  I gave up on building guns after that one.

There is NOTHING available these current dayze that can compare to ANY Kibler kit.

They are all 100% top shelf components, too.

They practically build themselves, thanx to the CNC genius and hard work that Jim has done over the years.

After yer first one you'll be back for another ... or may a half dozen more.   8)

Amen to that Rob.
Good thing I'm not flush with cash or I'd have a stable of kiblers.

Well Kees, I imagine you might be right.
The problem is I have sold most all of my long guns except my keepers.
On the other hand, I do have several revolvers that haven't ever seen smoke in front of their barrels.  I imagine I could sell those.
Anyone want an 1851 brass frame, an 1862 Colt Police or a Whitneyville Walker?  The Walker has been shot but I think the other two are virgin.  Some stuff goes with the last two.  Maybe even a NorthWest Trade gun in 12 ga.
Help send a starving, broken down horn builder to gun making class.     I could see a Woodsrunner in .54 decorating my secure closet.
Rob, that was a stirring testimony for Kibler.
