The Guernsey Frock...
« on: January 13, 2016, 08:28:11 PM »
A while ago I had a link to mfg's of a guernsey frock sweater, period correct to the early 19th century.  I believe it was Sir Michael who advised on sizing from the source.  Now I've lost track of the source...!!!

If anyone has an inkling of the supplier, from across the pond, please let me know...Thanks...

Regards, sse

Times change and this appears to be the current incarnation of the place I got mine from.  They are good sweaters and kinda cool.  No front and no back just 6 flat panels of knitted wool.  And period correct for a wide range of times.

Is this the Guernsey frock that was in use during the 1800's?
