Trigger problem

I am building a rifle and have come to a bit of an issue. I have my trigger inlet so it matches up to the lock as it should, but when I set the double set trigger and then attempt to fire, it will click instead of release the lock.  Do any of yall have any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?

Does the trigger function like it should out of the gun? If it does you have some wood in the way that keeps the trigger bar from hitting the sear.

I believe it's a Davis #4 double set trigger. And yes it functions like it should out of the stock. I'll remove a bit more material and see what happens. Thanks

It's possible the trigger spring may need adjustment if it's not tripping the sear. Try tightening the spring a little.
