I was wondering if any of you gentlemen ever listen to podcasts? I have recently found a podcast app that I like and found a few podcasts that deal with America's early history.

The app is called Podcast Addict, and my two favorites are American Military History Podcast, and American History Tellers.

Hey Bull. Thanks for the post. I have a lot of friends who listen to podcasts and keep telling me how nice it is. Now, you say the same thing...must be a new movement gettin' started. :lol sign

What do ya need to do to start? Is it as simple as downloading an app on my phone? If I can listen to history I want it.

Anyway, thanks again for the question.

Yes sir it is that easy. I use an app called Podcast Addict. I use an android phone, so I'm not sure about the fruit phone. I just downloaded it, and did a search.  On this particular app, if you scroll to the bottom of the first page, there are categories. History bnb is listed under the "Society and Culture" section. There are A LOT of podcasts on this app. Theres stuff for every taste and interest.

Will that work on my flip phone?  Don't know nothin' about these new-fangled smart phones - they're prob'ly smarter than me and I ain't gonna put up with that!  My kids don't smart off to me and the phone won't either....

Hey Bull. Got the app installed, but haven't been able to get anything to download yet. I am going to have my son take a look at it once I get back next Sunday. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

I leave tomorrow for a work conference that lasts until Thursday. Then have a 5 hour drive back home. Early Friday I leave for the Great Road Encampment, the first 'vous I've attended in over 30 years...

I already have my jeep fully packed and ready to go. Since it's only a two hour drive, I plan on being there as early as they will let me set up...not that I am excited, or anything like that... :lol sign

My only fear is that once I am there  :*: I might not be willing to come back to real life...

I have a few radio stations I'll download podcast from when having to drive any distance. Then plug the phone into the radio aux hole and listen away.
