Thimble screw

I have an Investarms .50 cal rifle.  I need the screw that screws the thimble to the barrel.  Does anyone know what the screw size is for this rifle?  Thanks for any help><> ole scratch

I don't know what size the screw is offhand, but I'm sure it's metric.  :bl th up

If it were me,.... I'd take the screw out of the other thimble, and take it to my local hardware store to see if they can match it.  :bl th up

I would do that but the other thimble is gone along with the screw.  I may go buy a few different sizes and see if one fits.  Thanks

AFAIK, the Investarms/Lyman uses 6-48-x-1/8" screws.

A call to TOTW might verify the size.
