Not over, not yet!
Shot mine this morning.  Must be the end of the month  ::)
A little breezy but everything else was good.  Wind calmed down just in time for my 100yd shots and I did better than my previous attempts at 100yds.
The trouble with doing things right the first time is no one realizes how hard it was.
Often, however, the following is more applicable.
I stand corrected, a position somewhat painful to achieve, but once there, is quite satisfying.

I had great plans to go shoot mine today, then the rain came down, and down, and down.....  NOAA Weather says it will continue tomorrow also, but be clear on Saturday.  Only problem is, that is the 31st and the P.O. closes at noon so getting my targets shot and postmarked by the end of the month will probably not work.  I'll try, though.....

YeeHAW!  I got 'er done!  Well, the 25 and 50 yard rifle offhand targets anyway.  Weather was overcast but dry with some wind, Temperature was not that bad, around 50 degrees or so but it got colder while I was out there.  In fact, I had wanted to shoot the 100 yard benched target but decided to quit when the "white finger syndrome" kicked in, and my toes started to hurt.  Pretty wimpy for a former Alaska boy!

Anyway, the targets are ready for the postal service tomorrow so they will be postmarked still in October.

The shooting itself was great.  My scores aren't, but I did get all ten shots on paper this time!  :applaud :applaud :applaud

Hope all is well with everyone.

Congrats to all on good shooting.
Special recognition for Nessmuk  :bow,  46-1x at 100 yards  :bl th up
I was just happy to get all 5 100yd shots on paper  :applaud
And 43-0x at 25yds with a handgun  :bl th up

Interesting that both Nessmuk and I did no better at 50yds with a rest than we did offhand.  :o
I guess that's the way the ball flies.

Congratulations to all who turned out for this.  We'll do 'er again next year, hey?  And another heartfelt thank you to Ohio Joe for taking the time to run the postal matches these past four (or more?) years!  :toast

One last question: Is there a compilation of scores for the year, or are we just going to stay with the monthly totals?

No compilation of scores for the year, Kees... However, if you want to know - you can go back through the months and get your tally.  :shake
