what i did today

 finally got my hands on a melting pot and thought I'd use my single ball mould and try my hand at casting some balls for my .62  fowler.
  after some trials i got some fairly consistent pours with .60 on average at 348gr.   good i guess??

finished my TOTW barrel brown.  not too bad I'd say.  I'll give it a bath and hand rub some linseed oil onto it.

now to start final sanding of the stock and figure out my stain...
