For Christmas, Mama Bear got me a new Kindel, which I decided to open up and update today.
Looking through the eBooks I have bought over time for that old Kindel I thought I would pass-on a few titles that I have thoroughly enjoyed, at what I would consider real good prices.

Many of you will catch the fact that Charles Griffin Coultant is the Author of two of the books that I got on eBooks.
Apparently there's more in Paperback, books that I will be looking for.
Right now they don't appear to be available on eBooks.

Some of these books sold for as little as $0.99 Cents....IIRC, the most expensive one was a wee bit over $4 bucks. Thats realitively cheap for hours and hours of entertainment at the end of a long cold day.

I know a few of you have a Kindel, and others, like myself when I first started, read these books online with your Tablet, or on your Computer.
Either way, you're saving some big bucks.

Again, you have my thanks. Nothing is better than getting a ready-made reading list...I read some of these years ago. Others will go on my short list.

My interest is more on the F&i period and focused in the western Virginia, Tennessee, NC and Kentucky region, but the fur trade era is where I started and those greenhorn days hold some shinin' memories. And beside that never read a period book that didn't have some lore or bit of bush craft that made me a wee bit more smarter in the ways of the woods.

Anyway, thanks, Uncle Russ. TMA is proving a gold mine of ideas and good solid information.

Thanks! This is a great reading list. I especially like that the books are all on Kindle. Makes both getting them and hauling them around a lot easier...also a dang site easier to read in bed...lol. Really appreciate you sharing the list.
