Meet my new family members!
« on: May 05, 2026, 08:40:31 PM »
We picked up Hazel Lynn and Harper Lee last Friday and I am on the moon! My 12 year old bloodhound, Jake, passed away in January and my heart was broken. I wanted to get a new dog but I had a bunch of stuff going on in the spring that I wanted to get through before we brought anyone home. Well...I got tired of waiting and decided to forgo the rest of turkey season in favor of puppies. These girls are around 13 weeks old and are as sweet as can be.

This is Hazel

and this is Harper

They are liver and tan with green eyes - absolutely beautiful! Here are a few photos of them just being pups.

I spend a few hours a day out in the pen with them...just because I can. They alternate between chewing on each other and fighting for my attention. Our Great Pyrenees, Daisy, still doesn't know what to think about them but we're hoping she'll warm up to them soon.

Looks like you have enough extra skin to build a couple more dogs.  ;D

Awesome, love that new puppy smell.
Never owned a hound, well other than a beagle once.
You go enjoy those pups Darren,  go for you!

Them are some cuties Darren! I can't wait to see what ya cook for them and the ensuing puddles of drool (x2). I always enjoyed your FB posts with Jake and showed my wife them, last night I showed her these girls and she loved them as well.
