Okay, so this is not necessarily developed for reenactors, but I think some here possibly find the benefit in this:

I just picked up a 20-page children's book by Josh Whitebird that helps teach kids how to speak the Ojibwe language. you find Josh's book here:

http://www.whitebirdbooks.com/

And no, I don't get a cut, am not his cousin, nor do I have anything to gain by posting this.  Just thought some here might enjoy....

Megwetch  :shake

There were also some good Anishnabemowin (people of the Three Fires: Ojibwe, Odawa, Potowatami) audio lessons made by Kenny Pheasant several years ago.

Thomas,

White guy here, but grew up on Mille Lacs. Had many Ojibwe friends growing up. Probably played a part in me deciding to try learning some of the language. I have been going thru the Pimsleur tapes... Do you have any more info on the Kenny Pheasant lessons?

One thing with this kid's book, it shows spelling. I realized that audio lessons leave me lacking when I try to write something out...
