Anyone using #000 Buckshot in their 36 cal rifle or pistol? Just picked up a new pistol and when I got to looking at accessories I noticed Track of the Wolf has #000 buckshot swaged size .350

What's your thoughts?

I believe that whenever I run low on round balls, I am going to buy a 5lb. bag of 000 from Track of the Wolf and try them out. I seen that ad also. It is the same size that I am shooting now.

      Yep,they work fine! IMO I would try just a few prior to buying
5# from TOW or any other seller. Some barrels like them and
some don't..... I know .350 is .350,but in MHO all .36cal barrels are not the same.

Question FGV? What pistol did you buy? Is it a front stuffer, or a BP revolver? If a revolver, you will need RB in .375, not .350. Just checking first.

I have a .36 TC Seneca, and it likes the a .350 RB, whether swaged or cast. I've never tried 000 buck, but want to someday.

It is a front stuffer. In fact it is a target styled pistol. I'll post some pics tonight.
Yep I knew about the revolver sizing I'm just hoping the buckshot works.
I will be going to Fremont Oh for their indoor trade fair and I hope to pick up the loading accessories and some balls to try for size.

I' ve been using 000 for years in my .36 and have been trying to get that across people for a long time.  I haqve weighed, measured for roundness and see no difference from the swaged balls.  One heck of a lot cheaper!!!

FGV; I have .360's if you need some. Use them in a Douglas XX on a Bedford Co. flinter.

FGV, I wasn't sure what ya had, but thought I'd post the sizing thing anyways. That is a cool looking pistol. Well, hopefully the 000 buck works for ya. If'in you get some, please post your results. I would like to see how well it shoots. Thanks for posting the photos.

After casting all my ammunition for the past 45 years I can't bring myself to stop.  I cast all my .36s and even .32s.
