The Welshmans new horn
« on: April 07, 2011, 02:11:01 PM »
Well, it's been quite awhile since I've been able to get to the bench and get a horn made, last year it was working from spring until late fall and living on the job site, which time my daughter moved in in Sept and the shop became Dads' storage facility!!!!!!!!!!!! This last weekend while I was at the West Coast Horn Fair she moved out on Friday and I have been able to get through the shop from one end to the other, came home from the WCHF late Sat night, cleaned the shop on Sunday and half the day yesterday to be able to find all my stuff not to mention the top of the bench!, with the juices running from all the cool stuff over the weekend I just had to get out there and make some dust and see if I could still make an acceptable horn, this is what the finished outcome was, gotta get back out there, have a couple more cut and drilled and screaming to be abused! This one was made for our friend The Weaving Welshman, dyed to match that new rock lock rifle of his.
