Looking Good! I like that device device that's supporting the barrel! I'm just using a small tool box.

Liberty, I made that out of scrap wood I had laying around and a length of dowel rod. Got the idea from a video I watched. Definitely is handy. Especially being adjustable for height.  I may modify it some and add a wider base.  Tips over every once in a while. But for the most part it is a big help.  So is the workmate.  They don't make it anymore, but I did find one, like new, on ebay.

A couple of the inlays done.  Went with a pre engraved eagle for the cheek rest.  An eagle in an oval is common on Bedford from what I have found so went with it (even if a cheap pre done one).

Next I plan on putting small hunters stars over the barrel pins. The stars will be drilled so the pins can pass thru.  These were the smallest I could find so going with them.

Well, making some more progress. Finally ready to stain. Got 1st application on. Will do a 2nd application in hopes of darkening it a bit more. Will do some sealing in the barrel channel, under butt plate, etc... After that I will start the finish.

I still have to build my browning box so I can brown the barrel. After that, put it all back together and head to the range.
