1780s Colonial Period Historical Intrpretation--in Arizona

I am fascinated by this period in our history.  Visiting Williamsburg, Yorktown, and Jamestown in May to experience how those fine folks interpret this time period.  I am an avid reader of Dennis Neely's blog (Traditional Black Powder Hunting), Jas. Townsend videos,  Bob's Black Powder Notebook, Journal of the American Revolution, Muzzleloading Magazine, Don Glickstein's books, &c, and whatever else I can get my hands on.  

Am I the only guy in Arizona that wants to go deeper than the shooting of period weapons?  It's okay if I am, but it would be more fun if there were others out here in AZ that were interested in the interpretation of daily Colonial life...we should get together and chat.

As far as your choice of reading material, many here will find you have chosen well , and a like number will hope you continue that frame of mind.

The Colonial Period was indeed a wonderful time in our history, resourcefulness was a necessity, and the proficient use of firearms of the times, by everyone, was a given.
People of the times were hard working dedicated people determined to make a better life for those that followed. we here at the TMA strive hard to promote that exact same feeling, and we would like very much to invite you to spend more time with us, get to know us.
