Author Topic: Traditions Pennsylvania Rifle Available - Cheap. Already Spoken For!!!  (Read 3257 times)

Stopped at the LGS and they have a .50 Traditions Pennsylvania Rifle on the rack, $140 .  Percussion lock.  I don't need/want it but figured if someone here does I can buy and ship it for them.  Sales tax is 7% so (rounding off) you are looking at $150 + shipping, and I have no idea who much that would run.  It's a l-o-n-g rifle so would probably cost extra to mail, or it go UPS.

It seems to be in good condition, I didn't see any major defects.  I didn't get a chance to drop a bore light down so don't know what that looks like.  It has the patch box with a bunch of patches in it, and some other brass ornamentation.  Here is what Traditions has on their website: https://www.traditionsfirearms.com/category/Pennsylvania-Rifle

PM me if you want it.

Moderators, if this should be posted elsewhere, please forgive me and move it.

Major BUMMER!  I went to buy it and it was GONE.  The guy behind the counter saw me searching for it and asked if I was looking for the Pennsylvania rifle.  When I said yes, he said someone snagged it up last night, just before they closed.  I have apologized to Sharp Stick for getting his hopes up.  Dang, I should have bought it when I first saw it, at that price!

Yep! Ya should have bought it!

I just now saw this, and I was thinking "ya better buy it", and then...the more I read the worse it got!

I used to shoot with a guy in Shelton WA that had one of those and the darn thing shot like crazy!

I know, I know, I have heard and read all the sorry things you could imagine about this rifle, but I'll tell you this much, from personally having shot one...they shoot like a house on fire!

I personally think the fellas bad mouthing this rifle all the time have never had the opportunity to hold and shoot one...for that kind of money ya ain't going to get nothing better...period!

Just my opinion.

Uncle Russ...

It's the many things we don't do that totally sets us apart.
