Dag knife measurements

I am trying to find measurements of what a dag knife would be
I've looked online and can't find any
Does anyone here have one that could help
Or could send me a pic of it with a tape measure besides it
I plan on trying to forge one next month.

What historical era are you aiming for?

I'd think 5-8 inches long for the blade length plus handle. I have seen pics of originals on auction sites that measure at 8" and then some smaller. They most probably varied quite a bit. Might be good to search for trade good lists for the era you are interested in.

I agree with AxelP, I expect they varied.
