Joe, My smoothbore target will be in the mail tomorrow.  Either it's going to be late for the April match or very early for May.

I have my 50 yard rifle target shot and in the addressed envelope just hoping for a weather break to shoot the smoothbore and add that to the envelope.  Hopefully soon but the forecast is not good for the next 4 days so we will see.

I'll keep an eye out for them, Dave. I should have shot mine earlier in April when I had a few better days, but then we got dumped on again with snow, and now the snow (again) is gone, but it's so dang windy dawn to dusk... Well, I'll keep an eye out for a relative decent day with 13 days left in April... If I could get 12 mph or less wind, I'd wing it and hold off a bit at 50 yards with the rifle.

72 degrees and sunshine today!  Got my pistol and smooth bore targets shot.  Hope to get my rifle shot and all targets in the mail by Wednesday. 

My smoothbore surprised me today.  trigger adjustment, a little load tweaking, and lots of dry fire practice with a wooden "flint".  What a difference from the last target!

Sounds good Steve. I'm going to the Range this morning to shoot the 50 yard Rifle.

Okay, got to the Range this morning, but I couldn't catch Nessmuk on the 50 yard Rifle Match this month, (good shooting Nessmuk  ), but all in all I was very pleased with what I shot.

Had a nice vertical string through 'center black / left' on the first 3 shots - then I threw one way out to the right into the 6 Ring on shot #4, then I dropped an 8 counter back in, low of the  previous 3 shot vertical string.

I'm certainly not going to complain however, as I'm very happy with the new front blade sight I put on this .45 halfstock rifle that I had converted to a flintlock - then just this past weekend / back to caplock, as I want to use that "flintlock - lock" on a new build this summer. 10, 10x, 9, 6, 8

I'm so glad the weather is getting nicer every day!

My smoothbore and rifle targets are in the mail.  Weather was beautiful today -- sunshine-- no wind and 70.  Great for shooting the smoothbore target and making sure my turkey loads are still right on.

Joe, I’m back at my home range after being gone for the winter and got my smooth bore and rifle(shot with smoothbore) targets in the mail today. Pistol is another story. I just started working with it and I can’t even see the sights. Might as well be shooting blindfolded. I’ll keep at it and may have some targets shot this weekend. I think that’s why I prefer the smoothbore. Only one sight to mess with.

I'll keep an eye out for targets Paul. Seems like we had a long winter up here where I live, but things are looking better now days. I didn't get an April Rifle target shot until the other day. It was good to get out!
