ID New Horn
« on: August 24, 2020, 11:17:36 AM »
I  just got two new horns on auction and was  wondering if anyone can ID the  4"  one  with rabbit etching and  unique spout.
Tried  to post pic here but for  some reason no can  do. I put them on  Gallery under Accoutrements (the two from swamppanther).

It's probably impossible to ID who did the scrimshaw, unless someone sees your inquiry and steps forward if they recognise that particular artwork,.... or,... if you can find some signature initials (in, or, close to the scrim) which might help with your search for an individual artist (if he/she has a reputation for doing such work).  :bl th up

Any idea who the previous owner is/was?
Any possible way to contact them, and ask some questions?

They're beautiful horns,.... and I like the spout (I've never seen one exactly like that before). :hairy  :hairy

Wish I could see them!  Can you post a link so those of us who can't find this Gallery you speak of, can find them?

Thanks!
