Well, they played at Woodstock.
They originated in Berkley, CA.
They sang a lot of political protest songs.
Pretty much did all of their music 1965-1970.
Country Joe was born in Washington, DC in 1942. Ye gods, that makes him almost 80 years old.  Wonder if he is still protesting Viet Nam?
If any of that sounds familiar to you, Joe,  you might have been in it.

Back to the original post, I WOULD trade Ohio for being "home" in Alaska any day!  But, this is where the good Lord has put us for good reason, we have made friends here and my Sweetie has good medical care (without first having to fly to the lower 48) so here we stay!   :lol sign
