An interesting history of the Battle AND the park. I visited the Monmouth Battlefield State Park in the mid 60's, it was quite a bit smaller then. I remember mostly a small gift shop, several historical plaques and a few picnics tables. It's nice to see the state has realized the the battle's historical importance.
