Will fly work

I know the parts from a GPR lock look very similar to the TC lock parts.(flint). I had a fly from a GPR in my hand recently and I noticed the bottom of it is squared off on the bottom. The TC fly comes to a point on the bottom. Does that mean these 2 parts are not interchangeable? Are any of the other parts interchangeable?

Tom, I expect Dixie Gun Works would know for certain. Give them a call and they'd be able to tell you.  :bl th up

Thanks bud. Just might have to do that. Do they still have a special # to speak with a gunsmith?

I think you just call them and tell them what you're looking for or the problem you're having and they will set you in the right direction with someone in the know... Least ways that's how it use to be, and I see no reason why that would have changed.  :shake

Or call Suzi at the Gunworks Muzzleloading Emporium.  She's got parts on hand.
