I agree with Kevin. But just for your info, I tried figuring out what your score would be on the B8 target. I believe it would be either a 48-4x, or a 49-4x. Either one, nothing to complain about.

Either sounds good to me! I'll get some proper targets printed at work next chance I get. Then I'll be ready to roll next month..

Joe, I think either you need to get your yardstick calibrated, or else I'll get mine calibrated. On that picture of you shooting, those targets to be far, far away compared to mine at 25 yds. What's wrong with this picture?

I think it's the perspective from her camera on her phone... It's a honest 25 with my rangefinder!

Thanks for clearing that up for me Joe. I was beginning to think I was cheating.

Uh oh. Looks like KDubs and Salty are either going to duke it out, or arm wrestle. Maybe the NMD has a better idea.

Way to go buddy. If you was using that rifle you were talking about selling, you might want to reconsider. Glad to see you got to shoot instead of serving as RSO. It's nice that you to do that, but you need to shoot some too. :hairy

I went out yesterday with the Hodgepodge rifle.  First to the 100 yard range for the cold bore, one shot challenge where I was great for windage, but a foot high.  :o  I moved over to the 25 yard range, got everything set up and loaded the rifle.  Then I got a text from the wife and, of course, had to answer it.  Once that was done I picked up the rifle and took my first shot.  Couldn't see where I hit so went to grab the ramrod to wipe the bore, but where IS the RR???  No where on the bench, not in the thimbles, maybe down range?  Yep, there it was, at least one 24" piece of it.  :Doh! My oh my, what happens when you get distracted!

So I wrapped it up and went home as I didn't have a spare.  I have chores to do today, maybe I can get out tomorrow and try again....

I finally got out to shoot.  Totally missed the 100 yard target on the challenge.  Shot the monthly target and the rondy target.  Not a stellar performance but I haven't shot in quite a while.  Now I can't get the pictures to load.  Tried several versions and I get invalid attachment message.  Not sure what I am doing wrong.  Have fiddled with this for an hour or so.
Well they posted even though I got the invalid message.  I was shooting a 58 caliber flint rifle yesterday 6/25.  Forgot to write it on the targets.  Looks like I got a 10 on the hornets and a 38 for the B8.

Hey Kees, I'm not laughing at you. I'm laughing with you, because that piece of broken ramrod sure looks familiar. And then there was the time I pulled the rod out of the ground in one piece. I guess that's where a range rod comes in handy. Well enough about that. And Dave, good on ya. For someone who hasn't shot for a while, I think you're back in the saddle already.
