Nessmuk, I shot my target with my .62 cal Fusil De Chasse smoothbore, 25 yds, offhand. Always seems to be one that gets away. [ Invalid Attachment ]

Nice shooting buddy. I bet you felt a whole lot better about your target than I did about mine.

Thanks. I haven’t shot the smoothbore in quite a while so I was pleased with how it went. Looks like you got me beat though.

Well Paulk, I could live with my bullseye target. But that fun target had me disappointed pretty badly. Especially those last 2 shots at the bottom of the target. I shot about 6 shots before shooting that one, and I think I was weakening. I think I cold use a little spinach. But I can't rule out putting some down the barrel of the Renegade too. And I didn't even shoot the long range target, trying to preserve a little strength.

No Powder, I haven’t tried that. I’ll have to dust off a rifled gun and give it a shot. Are you shooting at the 100 yd scaled down target?

Yes I am. That's the long range target I was referring to in my post. I hit it on the 6th of this month and posted a picture on the forum. Used the same Renegade that I shot this months targets. Try it you'll like it. (If you hit it.)  :bigsmile:

No Powder the 2nd here....

It was lovely weather this morning with the threat of rain in the afternoon.  I grabbed the Shenandoah rifle, targets, cardboard backer, spotting scope and shooting bag, left a note for my Sweetie that I was going to shoot my May targets and headed out the door.  I drove the half hour to the range.  Got signed in and put up the Bravo flag.   Stuck a square of black Duck Tape on a paper plate and stapled that to the belting where targets are supposed to.  Took the rifle out of its sheath and prepared to load.

"What, no powder horn?"   ;banghead;

Yes indeedy, I had everything except powder!  I may have to change my handle from Winter Hawk to No Powder 2!  :luff:  :laffing  :lol sign

And that was the end of my shooting for today.

Well Kees, I've been looking for your targets. Especially with a low turnout this month. So I'm sorry for your misfortune but, look at it this way, my post on the 16th was the last post. So you created several more posts on this thread. I sincerely hope you'll have another opportunity before the end of the month. Our poor NMD (Nessmuk) may soon be headed to the Bureau of Unemployment Security.

Went out this morning and got 'er done, using the Traditions Shenandoah rifle.  First time ever I have shot it, took three sighter shots off the bench at 25 yards and was very satisfied; two were in one hole, and the last was an inch & a half high. Then I stood on my hind legs and did this:

I didn't get out in April, so I shot it with my May target (I forgot to grab the fun target off the printer so it's just the bullseye for May for me)... I posted those in the April thread its fine that they don't count, I just wanted to get caught up.
 Here's my May target though!
