Pass Around Box - Redux
« on: May 07, 2026, 10:04:46 AM »
Despite countless tries, I cannot seem to get ahold of Beaverman to get the original box started around again.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I figured I would get it going.  I believe I have enough stuff around here to prime the pump, so's to speak.  I will start it with 10 items of varying value and we will see where it goes from there.  It will start with me and it will finish with me.  I will hold it until the next go around.  The plan is I will send it out on June 1.  I would like to have 8 names but will settle for 6 for this first go around.

So, if you want to play, PM me here with your name (screen and given names.  I would be John Shorb - Bigsmoke) and mailing address and also reply to this thread saying you want in.  The box will be sent out in the order of the names I get.

OK, let's have some fun and trade in your old plunder for some new stuff.

Rules, there's always gotta be rules.
1)  Register in a timely manner.
2)  When you get the box, you can take as many items or as few items as you want.  For each item you take, replace it with an item.  You take 1, you replace with 1.  You take 3, you replace with 3.
3)  You have 3 days to decide what you want and then forward to the next person in line.
4)  It will be sent via Priority Mail.  Continue it on its way also by Priority Mail.
5)  When you receive the box, reply to this topic that you received it.  When you send it back out, also respond.  That way, if someone comes in and wants to participate, I can let whoever is in line to add the name and address to the bottom of the list.
6)  If you want, you can post here what you took.  Or not, up to you.
7)  Try to replace items with something of equal or greater value.

All for now,  let's have some fun.

I'm in!

Tried contacting Beaverman on The Muzzleloading Forum with NO response.  He's selling leather work there, so somehow we must have insulted him.  I believe several other folks here have tried contacting him also.

Hi Salty,
No, it hasn't been sent out yet.
Still need another few people to sign up.
Wondering if this is a dead idea when you cannot even get 6 or 8 people on board.
Let's do it, folks.

Well, you're in now.
That's four plus me, just need a few more.  Kevin and Eric, we need some action from North Idaho.  Whoever gets on the list first can save postage by just handing it off.  No Powder??  Whar you at?
