Beautiful! I understand that it was fairly common to move rear sights forward on a barrel as the owner's eyes aged. something about getting better focus through them. :rt th ...., and rather than risk havin' my rear sight (eventually) wind up just a couple inches behind the front sight,... I've pretty much completely switched to shootin' smoothbores. I still can't hit nuthin', but now I have an excuse.
