Traditions Trapper caplock pistol holsters
« on: December 06, 2021, 12:51:51 PM »
I am looking for info on holsters for a Traditions Trapper holster?  It is a bit heavy and I am rather portly with no butt
so I am looking for a shoulder strap/ belt setup or patterns

You might want to give October Country a try.  I don't think they have anything like that in their catalog, but I imagine they could conjure something up that would work just fine.

Or, get some leather and tools, then design and  make one yourself.  Surely on line you can find examples of shoulder holsters and modify that for your Trapper.

A bandolier and bucket style can work well. There are some examples out there. But you may find that the sash with two pistols is not easy to move around with. I've found that a multi wrap waist band, extra wide belt, or a purpose made coat pocket works for me best. Ill see if I can find d a photo or two of what I've made or have though about making and will add to this thread.
