Antler Tips
« on: October 19, 2009, 02:48:50 PM »
I'm in the market for some antler tips for powder measures, maybe something like a half dozen or so. Where's a good place to start looking?
I have a Leather Unlimited catalog here and see them in there. Anyplace better to deal with?

Moscow Hide and Fur Moscow, ID
Eidnes Furs - St Maries, ID

Personally, I would check with Eidnes first.  I used to buy lots of antler pieces from them when I was making antler handle short starters.

Don't know how I missed this one, but
my nephew needed some for a project he was working on, so, he stuck a want ad in the local newspaper and he got so many cotton pickin antlers, that he didn't know what to do with them all. He even got a set of elk antlers from a woman who had gotten divorced and her husband left them at her place, give it a try, ya' might be surprised.
