She's very nice and looks well put together.  That's the type of rifle and finish level that I would order if and when I decide to expand my collection too, and I like that the inlays are subtle and not flashy but add distinction.

Looks great, is that guard home made ?  really nice style on it--and the whole rifle.....Skurrils with flack jackets ?

the wrist and left side back have acorns, the left side center has a starburst, the right side center is (i believe) a two headed eagle.

i just like what i like in the way a muzzle loader looks and performs.  i'm not into all that pc/hc stuff, so i have new clue as what era (if any) this rifle falls into, hence no clue about the rectangular trigger guard - only jack garner (or maybe roaddog) could possibly answer why he built her the way he did.  she's a keeper for me.
