This is a rather unique Indian outfit. The scabbard is made totally of tree bark and is tight and all there. The blade itself is made from good steel and maintains a razor sharp edge. A pretty neat Indian piece.

I'm not sure Joe,.... I'm guessing (maybe) somewhere around 1830-1860.

That's a great piece for sure. How is the banding held in place? Is it just tucked into the side or tacked?
