Was the sun on your right?
Very easy to notice that grouping....and where was the sun at the time, cause it really catches the eye!
If that were me, and it's obviously not, but I would verify that from the bench without touching, or correcting anything.
If I got that same or very similar result, it would be time to work on the sights.
And that brings something to mind for that guy just getting started, and may not know.
Many old-timers, such as Rod, myself, and many others here will do this without even thinking, but if you're not familiar with this, I'm quite sure you will find it very helpful.
In regards to sights vs impact of bullet, I would like to offer this for those who are not already aware of it, and use it.
Remember the word or letters
F O R S when moving one of the other of your sights to move the impact on the target when zeroing......
Front
Opposite
Rear
Same with regards to where the round impacts.
Instead of fiddling around, sometimes just guessing or maybe not even knowing which way to move the sights to get on target, this old formula is a must.
