Whew, you had me in a dither there!  I thought you were saying that TODAY was election day and our mail in ballots haven't arrived yet.  :Doh! I had to go on Duckduckgo to search for the election date November 3rd.  Thank goodness, I have time to decide which people I want to vote against....  :laffing  Can't say I'm really for any of them.  I would vote to throw the rascals out, except that they ALL seem to be rascals in one way or another!

For me the decision of who NOT TO vote for is pretty simple,.... and that is any candidate/party who would very much like to take my beloved muzzleloaders away from me.

Prevent such a despicable/treasonous thing from happening,.... and we have a chance to defend ourselves from tyranny:bl th up

Here is a quote from Thomas Jefferson. "When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

Music to my ears, gentlemen, but you know you are preaching to the choir.

I have been voting since I was 21 and that's a few years ago.  In all that time, I do not recall ever voting FOR anyone, especially in national politics.  It has always been AGAINST someone.  Isn't that a pathetic situation?  I know two of my criteria this year will be the candidates' stand on abortion (or should I say infanticide?) and their stand on 2nd Amendment rights.  Pretty easy to tell who I am NOT going to vote for, eh?
