Lyman Hawken - Rear Peep Sight needed!

Howdy all!
Wishing a Happy New Year to all the TDMLA Family!

We have a new to us Lyman Hawken 50 caliber percussion rifle.  Appears to be a earlier model in 1:66 twist with a 5 digit serial number (57xxx) made in Italy!

The rifle shoots outstanding I we really like it.

I am trying to find a read aperture/peep sight for it for not only our use hunting and 4-H matches, but to load to our other 4-H members that compete at State or National levels.
Seems since this virus hit, everyone is showing out-of-stock or they have completely removed them from their catalogs.

Every place I checked the (Lyman RS-57-SML) is on back order, but some have the 57 GPR...

May have to just keep searching, and hope one shows up.

May have to just keep searching, and hope one shows up.   

I believe the GPR is the same sight, just with a added spacer, but have not been able to get anyone to confirm.  Thanks!

You're right about that. I run the 57 GPR on the tang of my (50 & 100 yard) .50 Douglas barreled Buffalo X-Stick Rifle... She wins Medals - and there's no beauty about her - but she shoots straight.

You may want to add another distributor to your waiting or will notify you list.
In fact, I was surprised to see they are out of stock too.
Also, Brownell's typically has the 17A front sight to accompany the 57 rear, if you should be interested.
